Right order for applying skincare products - what comes first?

Do you have ten products and don't know what order to use them in? It's not just a matter of convenience – the correct order directly affects the products' effectiveness.

✨ The Principle: From Light to Heavy

The basic rule is to apply from light to heavy – from the thin, absorbent texture to the thick, oily one. This way, each product can penetrate deep into the skin and work optimally.

🌞 Morning Routine

  1. Cleansing – light cleanser to remove sweat and overnight residue
  2. Toner – balances pH and prepares the skin for absorption
  3. Serum – thin texture with highly concentrated active ingredients
  4. Eye Cream – thin and sensitive skin around the eyes
  5. Moisturizer – creates a protective layer over the serum
  6. SPF 50 Sunscreen – always last!

🌙 Evening Routine

  1. Deep Cleansing – removing makeup, sunscreen, and all accumulated during the day
  2. Toner – optional
  3. Night Serum – retinol, peptides, or hyaluronic acid
  4. Eye Cream
  5. Rich Moisturizer – hydration and restoration overnight

⚠️

  • Vitamin C in the evening with retinol – not recommended, may cause irritation
  • Skipping toner – optional, not mandatory

💡 Bonus Tip

If you use a mask or peel, add them after the toner and before the serum. Only in the evening routine.
